FINANCIAL AID FUND

PLATFORM & GRANTS AVAILABLE:

We use the platform Open Collective to transparently raise, hold and distribute funds to trans+ people in Bristol. We offer three types of grants:

General Assistance: For smaller day to day costs, capped at £60 per month per person.

Emergency: For financial emergencies such as unexpected bills, unemployment or housing costs. We may not always be able to pay the full amount requested but we will aim to ensure no member of our community is left in a financial emergency.

Fundraiser: We can provide £50 one-off donations to fundraisers for trans people in Bristol.

HOW TO MAKE A REQUEST:

1) Sign in or create an Open Collective account. 

2) Navigate to the Trans Aid Bristol Open Collective page and click Request Grant. 

3) There should be three options on this page. Select Request Grant, enter your payment details and click next.

4) Enter the grant subject (General Assistance, Emergency or Fundraiser). Please note that the subject and description are publicly visible. If you wish to add a private note for TAB, click to the next page and write this under 'Add Notes'.

5) Submit your request.
